Management Training for people working in the Bio Health sector: A series of training days

Various Dates , The Nowgen Centre (Manchester)

Interviewing and Recruitment
16 October 2007

Interviewing and recruitment skills are needed by managers employing people, whether it is for a scientific position or a more business-focussed role. In small companies every appointment is vital to the success of the fledgling organisation. Often no support is available and recruiting the wrong person could be a very costly mistake.

Positive Influencing
22 November 2007

Positive influencing skills are needed by everyone in business to contribute towards a thriving organisation. Managers that understand how to influence can have a huge advantage over those who don’t. Many entrepreneurs and managers have good ideas but often fail to convince others about these in an increasingly competitive environment.

Business Planning
13th December 2007

Business planning skills are needed by everyone developing their ideas to create health products in order to implement and deliver business objectives. A good plan not only gives clarity and focus but helps define strategy and manage resources. It also gives confidence by lowering the investment risk.
