Welcome to the TrusTECH website
TrusTECH is the North West NHS Innovation Hub and provides services to NHS organisations throughout the North West.
With increasing challenges in healthcare (greater patient expectations, the demand for new technology, etc.) there is a huge drive for innovation within the healthcare sector. Because of their close involvement in all areas of healthcare provision, NHS employees are key to developing new and innovative ideas to improve delivery of care.
TrusTECH helps NHS staff in the North West to identify and protect innovative technologies, ideas and services that could be commercialised or shared to improve patient care. With specialist knowledge in protecting the intellectual property (IP) associated with innovations, TrusTECH helps NHS Trusts to maximise the potential of their ideas and develop them into successful products and services.
TrusTECH also facilitates collaborations between commercial organisations and the NHS to develop innovative technologies and improve healthcare. TrusTECH is a preferred supplier for the National Innovation Centre Business Services.
