2012/13 Regional Innovation Fund Round 2 open for expressions of interest

Expressions of interest to the Regional Innovation Fund Bursary Award are being called for. Applications must be linked with one of the five High Impact Innovations from the Department of Health publication “Innovation, Health and Wealth”.

The five High Impact Innovations are:

• 3 million lives – accelerating the use of assistive technologies,
• Oesophageal Doppler Monitoring,
• Child in a chair day,
• Digital by default – reducing inappropriate face to face contacts and to switch to higher quality, more convenient, lower cost alternatives,
• Carers for people with Dementia.

Bursaries of up to £15,000 are available through the fund and all projects submitted must be in the position to commence immediately and conclude by March 2013.
