Asthma-related research grants

Asthma UK and Innovate UK have announced grants of between £50,000 and £250,000 are available to develop tools for quick, accurate, scalable and low-cost diagnostics.

The campaign is looking to identify and invest in exceptional patient-centric science and foster research collaborations between academia and UK industry to develop new solutions to diagnose asthma more accurately, which will enable more targeted, personalised care to be delivered.

Research can be focussed on any stage of the innovation cycle, however successful applications will demonstrate a clear pathway to adoption or commercialisation. Additionally, projects with short to medium term implementation goals will be prioritised.

The deadline for applications is: Tuesday 27th March 2018.
