SBRI Healthcare calls and events

SBRI Healthcare has announced two calls for SMEs this Autumn. The focus on finding new solutions in Mental Health and Technology in Surgery and the deadline for applying to both of these calls is Wednesday 29th November at midday.

Mental Health call

Under the overall theme of Mental Health, three categories have been identified following consultation with clinicians and other stakeholders working in mental health. These are:

  • Children and young people’s mental health
  • Depression, self-harm and suicide
  • New models of care (leading to improvements in operational productivity

Technology in Surgery call

Under this theme, two categories have been identified. Applicants are expected to respond to a category whilst being mindful of the broader system. The categories are:

  • Preoperative surgical simulation technologies
  • Technologies to assist with surgical procedures

Briefing events

Three briefing events have been scheduled to enable prospective applicants to find out more about these two calls. The events will cover the competition specification, application process, support available to companies and a Q&A session.

Events are as follows:

  • Bristol – 24th October
  • Nottingham – 31st October
  • Liverpool – 3rd November
