TrusTECH provides an innovation management service to NHS organisations and their staff throughout the North West. TrusTECH helps Trusts to identify innovative ideas, to protect those ideas and to realise their value for the benefit of healthcare.
TrusTECH can help Trusts to take innovative ideas from identification through to marketing of a new product or dissemination of a valuable healthcare service.
TrusTECH services include:
- Management support for intellectual property (IP) policies
- Innovation and IP advice
- Awareness raising/training for Trust staff
- Innovation auditing/assessment
- Service Innovation Scheme
- Product development advice
- Access to TrusTECH funding schemes
By working with TrusTECH , NHS staff benefit from its innovation management experience and, as TrusTECH is part of the NHS, they can feel confident that TrusTECH will do its best to maximise the potential of the innovation for the benefit of the NHS and healthcare as a whole. The successful commercialisation of innovations not only improves delivery of care but can also financially benefit the Trust and staff involved.
