How to develop good ideas in paediatric health
- Tuesday 27th February, 1000 – 1530
Do you have an idea for a solution to meet an unmet need in paediatric health, care and medicine? The NIHR Children and Young People’s Medtech Cooperative and the Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network will be hosting an event on the 27th February exploring how ideas can be developed into solutions which can be used by clinicians and patients.
The event will cover the development and commercialisation elements of the innovation journey, with delegates hearing talks on:
- Research design and setting up clinical trials
- Access to funding opportunities
- Regulatory guidelines
- Building a value proposition
- Financial modelling
Attendees will also hear case studies outlining the experiences of innovators and companies who have developed products which respond to unmet needs in paediatric medicine, with a focus on respiratory and sleep innovations.
Places are limited and prior registration is essential. Lunch will be provided.
