Now Industry Procurement Adviser for TRUSTECH & Health Innovation Manchester, Nick is passionate about helping SMEs break into the NHS and supporting health and wealth in local economies.

 

Now a Fellow of the Institute of Procurement & Supply, he is keen to explore how procurement is going to shape in its outlook and embrace new changes, which he says, he wants to be very much a part of.

Carolyn spent several years working as a paralegal and legal researcher at a top-tier law firm before moving to TRUSTECH as an Executive Assistant. 

 

Carolyn now supports the Health Social Enterprise (HSE) team which helps individuals and organisations to transition or “spin-out” of their host body into a social enterprise organisation.  

 

Carolyn provides support during each stage of the transition - from the initial audit all the way through to post-transition support.

Nicola Dickins has been working with Social Entrepreneurs for over 20 years, helping them to develop social enterprise activity and diverse income generation routes through trading, commissioning, funding and social investment. 

Her vision is to see a world where organisations choose to invest their profits into social purpose and thus sustainable and resilient communities can emerge.

Nicola leads the TRUSTECH Health Social Enterprise programme, establishing meaningful partnerships with entrepreneurs and companies to maximise positive outcomes for society.

In particular she manages the start-up workstream, that helps individuals and organisations that want to establish Health Social Enterprises or are at a stage where they need to grow.

As a former entrepreneur, and with a track record in project management, finance, accounting, IT and business planning, Sig is responsible for delivering a variety of healthcare innovation projects, including the Innovation Nexus service on behalf of Health Innovation Manchester.

Sig's expertise includes business development, support and management, IT systems implementation, funding applications, patents, data analysis, reports, innovation outcomes / impact and product development.

in- and out-licensing and, business and intellectual property valuation.

Since 2017 he has been working for TRUSTECH as a board advisor and consultant, supporting the company's role as a leading advisor to healthcare organisations on transformation through innovation.

Doug's expertise lies in venture capital, life sciences, finance and business development.

An international research scientist, Mike has worked for Department of Health funded networks and implemented/ managed clinical studies in primary and secondary care. He is responsible for market intelligence and sector research, evaluating products and services for Commissioner Innovation Programmes, calculating Social Value and Social Return On Investment (SROI).

 

Mike's expertise includes critical analysis, experimental design, data analysis, report writing, product evaluations, intelligence reports, pharmaceutical research and clinical trials.
